Please remember our White brothers and sisters who were injured or experienced property loss and damage during the recent storms and tornadoes in Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois in your prayers. I toured some of the worst storm-ravaged areas yesterday, and saw a lot of destroyed homes such as this one. One town I visited, Clinton, was still mainly without power, with many downed trees, billboards, and signs, and many businesses missing their roofs.
Our home was also damaged by the storms. Through God’s grace none of our family was injured, however, although it was a scary night, to be honest.
Yesterday afternoon I spent helping pick up tree limbs, branches, and debris from the devastation, and a lot has been accomplished, but it will be a while before we will be able to get our own house repaired, I’m afraid. Fortunately it is still livable, for now.
Thank you for your continued prayers as we continue to pick up the pieces and try to figure out how we’re going to get our damaged eaves and overhangs repaired. Most of all, we are thankful to be healthy and whole.
If we are without power again, since some areas have had intermittent electric service due to storm damage, I can be reached at P.O. Box 1937, Mountain View, Arkansas, 72560.
