Looking Forward To It

by Billy Roper

Bible Prophecy, like Conspiracy Theories, is an area which should be trod with care. For one thing being wrong, or too detailed, just makes you sound crazy. The scripture tells us that Jesus will return like a thief in the night, and no man knows the hour or the day. Of course, that hasn’t stopped Pastors and lay-persons from trying to predict when and how the end would come since, well, the beginning. Even before He had left, His disciples were asking Him when He was coming back. In the year 999 A.D., Christians gave away all of their worldly possessions and stood naked in the streets on December 31st, awaiting the return of Christ. All that they got, of course, was frostbite.

To many evangelical Christians who recognize the evil and corruption of the current governmental system, the impending end has been misinterpreted into belief in a rapture which will literally spirit them away before the serious trouble starts. For these rapture bunnies, the cop-out of a ‘poof!’ disappearing act allows them to abdicate their responsibility to be watchmen on the wall, or to occupy until He comes like good and faithful servants. In other words, it’s an excuse for their laziness and cowardice. “It doesn’t matter, the world’s going to end soon, anyway”. This allows them to turn a blind eye to evil, and refuse to take action against it.

Personally, I don’t believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, but that’s a topic for another day.

That caveat being given, we do know that we can flip forward and take a look at the back of the book to cheat a little, and see how the story ends. News alert: we win. The AntiChrist who comes preaching racial unity and globalism will be defeated, along with those who advance his cause. The Jews will be vanquished (Revelation 2:9 and 3:9). There are also glimpses of worldwide war and catastrophic natural disasters, as well as a mass die-off and government oppression, civil wars, really just a general good time to look forward to, as far as I’m concerned. I don’t know, but I hope I’m around to see it. Tingling with anticipation, even.

In this video, Pastor James Wickstrom presents a sermon which dives right into Biblical prophecy about what will happen in those days, particularly to America. It’s fascinating to think about, especially if you live in the Coastlands. Perhaps this even ties into my ideas about a (White) Streamlined America rising again in between the Appalachians and the Rockies. That could be the New JerUSAlem of God’s kingdom for the one-thousand year reign on Earth. We’ll see.

If you’ve never heard of Pastor Wickstrom before, he has been named in one report ranking such people as the most dangerous racist in America. I came in second. We’re still awaiting the results of the recount I demanded. In the meantime, keep your eyes on the prize, and occupy until He comes.
